Jets land forward Walker Duehr on one-year, two-way contract

Walker Duehr is staying in the Western Conference.

The former Calgary Flames and San Jose Sharks forward agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday, the team announced.

Duehr has played 92 career NHL games, recording 11 goals and 10 assists.

He split last season between the Flames and Sharks, tallying three points (two goals, one assist) in 24 games.

Duehr, the 27-year-old from Sioux Falls, S.D., also had 28 points (16 goals, 12 assists) in 36 AHL games with the Calgary Wranglers and San Jose Barracuda.
